Overview : Responsible to maintain in a clean and sanitary manner all facilities of the hospital as assigned by the Manager. Assigned work areas shall be maintained at a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Maintains floors in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Cleans and sanitizes all areas of the hospital property.
• Required to handle hazardous waste, general waste and soiled linens to transport throughout the hospital facility to collection site for contractual removal.
• Maintains areas in an aesthetically pleasing and orderly fashion.
• Operates cleaning equipment and checks for proper function. Maintains cleanliness of equipment.

Starting Pay :

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.00 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work / Work from Home :

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
