We at LCRA are looking for a motivated and responsible individual to join our Environmental Affairs team! As a part of LCRAs Environmental team your skills and experience in managing hazardous waste environmental testing and construction or stormwater compliance will provide imperative environmental support in the planning and execution of utility infrastructure projects in Texas. You will be trusted to :

• Assist with environmental inspections of facilities equipment and natural conditions to ensure regulatory compliance and to identify actual and potential environmental issues.
• Conduct construction stormwater inspections coordinating on site compliance with construction staff and contractors
• Perform work by traveling independently or with a small crew to various sometimes remote locations (substations transmission line rights-of-way power plants water systems etc.) as scheduled.
• Assist with collection of environmental data and physical samples.
• Respond to environmental emergencies on-site remediation and spill clean up
• Document inspection collection sample management and waste removal activities and findings through appropriate communications and record keeping practices. Documents work into logs files and other records and through communications both verbal and written with other team members and supervisors.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds in moving boxes equipment and waste materials
