Overview
Dr. Brian Wolpin's Lab is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will engage in cutting-edge research focused on epidemiology and statistics, contributing to our understanding and development of innovative therapeutic strategies.Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment, we educate tomorrow's physician / researchers, and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.( ( Responsibilities Design and implement studies to evaluate determinants of pancreatic cancer risk and outcomes.Collaborate with other laboratory members with expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, pathology, molecular biology, and functional genomics. Conduct analyses using statistical software, such as SAS, R, and others. Participate in group meetings and work collaboratively on larger projects with other group members.Generate data for figures and tables to serve as the basis of published manuscripts Write manuscripts describing research results.Write grants and progress reports related to research funding. Qualifications PhD or MD requiredStrong background in epidemiology and statisticsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required : Experience managing and analyzing large datasetsExperience in oncology research would be an advantage.
