Job Title : Cost Analyst Location : Birmingham, Alabama Type : 3 year Contract Compensation : $40.00 hourly Contractor Work Model : Onsite System One is currently seeking a Cost Analyst on a 3 year contract position located in Birmingham, AL. Cost Analyst Responsibilities : Track and analyze project budgets, actual cost, and financial performance. Identify cost variances and investigate root causes. Drive budget preparation and cost projections. Ensure project cost align with financial goals and constraints. Collaborate with stakeholders to adjust budgets based on project scope changes. Prepare financial reports and cost documentation for stakeholders. Work closely with finance and compliance to meet regulatory standards. Cost Analyst Requirements : 5 to 10 years of experience specializing in monitoring, analyzing project cost, and ensuring compliance. Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience providing cost analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Access, Word, Power BI) Multitasking in a face paced environment. Ability and willingness to develop strong internal and external client working relationships. Adaptable and flexible in a changing and evolving environment. Ability to work on multiple complex projects and tasks and work closely day to day with the project managers and other project controls analysts.
