This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of health issues, including chronic illnesses and acute conditions.
- Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, screenings, and wellness check-ups.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as urology, otolaryngology, and pediatrics to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform minor surgical procedures as needed, including spinal taps and botulinum toxin treatments.
- Manage emergency situations effectively, utilizing skills gained from experience in emergency room settings.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Participate in occupational health assessments and provide guidance on workplace health issues.
