As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will be responsible for conducting routine unarmed patrols and helping to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout the assigned area and utilize your expertise to respond to alarm panels when needed. Pay Rate : $26.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document security-related incidents according to site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks within the government facility.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
