Job Description

Teledyne CETAC products and services are used in every industry where rapid and accurate determination of elemental trace levels are required. Major industrial segments benefiting from our product-based solutions include semiconductor manufacturing, environmental analysis, and petrochemical manufacturing. We develop, manufacture, and market a family of products and services that provide essential solutions to customers around the globe.

Description of Role : The Automation Product Specialist is to provide technical, and applications support on the full line of CETAC Automation products. This position will provide support to product management and engineering teams in the development of new products and applications. In addition, the product specialist position will interact with customers in application development and items of a product launch.

Summary of Job Duties :

Assist product management and engineering in launch of new CETAC products.

Complete application notes on new and existing CETAC products.

Assist OEM partners in development of applications with CETAC products and OEM equipment.

Engage customers on the "voice of customer" to drive new products and product improvements.

Job Qualifications and Requirements :

B.S. in Chemistry or related field.

Experience with ICP-OES and ICP-MS techniques.

Knowledge of applications using ICP-OES and ICP-MS.

Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software problems.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Ability to travel up to 40% in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Ability to develop and present CETAC product presentation materials for both open forum and direct customer meetings.

Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with direct and OEM customers.
