Salary :

Hunt Electric, Inc.is seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team Preconstruction Team. TheElectrical Designer needs to be sharp, driven, and constructability minded.

The Electrical Designer will be at the center of planning, design, and prefabrication coordination. This position bridges the gap between design and construction using a combination of tools including software documentation, knowledge of field installation, and working with our project management and VDC teams.

Major Duties :

• Ability to adhere to detailing standards.
• Build, and edit preconstruction electrical drawings using Bluebeam and Excel
• Generate accurate takeoffs, product counts, and support estimating efforts.
• Put together schedules, worksheets, and documentation correctly.
• Serve as a go between with the field, engineering, management, and technical teams.
• Track progress, timelines, and team deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
• Prepare, review, manage all aspects of the preconstruction drawings.
• Facilitate meetings and manage details.
• Ability to work independently but also work well within a team setting.
• Creative and out of the box thinking with attention to detail.
• Ability to think practical based, relying on field experiences.
• Experience on real world projects, understanding installation logic.
• Time management skills.
• Can read and understand construction drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Leadership and teaching skills.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications :

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7 : 00am - 4 : 30pm and Friday 7 : 00am - 2 : 00pm
