Job Title : Clinic Nurse

Job Description

Join our team as a Clinic Nurse where you will ensure the efficient flow of patients through the clinic. Your role includes screening and preparing patients for exams, instructing them on sample collection, obtaining vitals, and managing patient records. You will also notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments, educate patients and families on medications and treatment instructions, and manage scheduling for tests and treatments. This includes arranging referrals to specialists and obtaining pre-authorizations as directed by the provider.

Responsibilities

• Manage the efficient flow of patients through the clinic.
• Screen and prepare patients for exams.
• Instruct patients on the collection of necessary samples / tests.
• Obtain and record patient vitals.
• Notify patients of test results and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Educate patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Manage patient records, including chart entries and posting lab / tests.
• Schedule tests and treatments, arranging specialist referrals and obtaining pre-authorizations.

Work Environment

Work in a women's clinic setting at The Urogynecology Center. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts starting at 7 : 30 / 8 : 00 AM. This is a contract-to-hire position with an initial 6-month contract.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
