Description

As a speech language pathologist, you will have the opportunity to diagnose and treat a wide range of communication disorders, including speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with children and provide specialized therapy services that enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders through thorough evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans specific to each patient’s needs
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based techniques
- Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for improving communication and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress
License or Certification :
Must be in possession of current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License
Education, Training and Experience : Minimum requirement : Associate degree in and / or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Experience is preferred but not required.
