Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center are recruiting post-doctoral fellows in cancer prevention and control. Supported by a National Cancer Institute grant (T32CA122061), we will train the next generation of cancer control researchers with an explicit focus on reducing the evidence-to-practice gap in cancer care delivery through translational science. Core competencies of the training program include cancer control research, implementation science, informatics, cancer care delivery, and health systems scientists. Fellows will work with experienced faculty members to complete a 2 to 3 year training program and will gain skills to meaningfully engage in team science, lead translational and high impact research, and successfully compete for extramural funding. PhD required.
