We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in accounting and financial management. You will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Document and streamline accounting procedures through comprehensive process documentation, screenshots, and training materials.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and accounting management teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Handle deferred revenue recognition and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Conduct audits and maintain accurate records within general ledger systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting software systems and CRM tools.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on accounting best practices to improve operational effectiveness.
• Utilize reporting tools like Crystal Reports to deliver insights to stakeholders.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as NetSuite and CRM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Familiarity with month-end close processes and general ledger systems.
• Experience with deferred revenue recognition and auditing practices.
• Ability to prepare and analyze budgets and financial reports.
• Skilled in using reporting tools like Crystal Reports.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
