GIS Specialist

We are looking for an exceptional GIS Specialist to join a team building state-of-the-art land analytics software solutions that empower the DCSS real estate team to deliver capacity to meet global AWS customer needs. You will play a critical role in helping define the GIS product features, and be at the forefront of making direct and immediate business impacts.

Key job responsibilities :

• Build GIS web applications and develop GIS-based analysis models and tools supporting data center development due diligence projects
• Design and implement geospatial database schemas and data processing pipelines
• Work with external service providers to test prototypes, scale solutions to production, and implement data management and application integration to ensure platform compatibility and security
• Contribute to system architecture, design, implementation, and security reviews of GIS tools and integrations
• Partner with product and program managers to identify needs for new GIS tools and expand the location intelligence capabilities of the tooling platform
