Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This position is based at our Jackson, MS manufacturing facility. The Jackson facility has approximately 500 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What You'll Do :

The Manufacturing Engineer supports the manufacturing processes responsible for Machining Aerospace quality products, including components of hydraulic pumps, motors, motorpumps, and reservoirs. The Manufacturing Engineer performs engineering and manufacturing assignments focusing on process improvements related to machining.

Job Responsibilities :

• Create and improve process plans for new and existing products
• Conduct time studies to establish or verify standards
• Design and develop tooling to support the manufacturing / machining of the product
• Create and improve check / inspection sheet documentation for production processes
• Utilize problem solving tools (8D, 5 Why's, DMAIC) to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Identify and execute cost out initiatives through productivity improvements
• Support new product launches into production
• Perform daily process checks to ensure compliance by technicians
• Support Eaton continuous improvement initiatives such as Rapid Improvement Events, Standard Work Events, Value Stream Mapping, and 5S+
• Create CNC programs using MasterCAM
