Summary :

To perform inspections covering the repair and / or disassembly of aircraft engines from Willis Lease’s fleet and Third-Party Customers coming through the Repair Station. Performs a variety of tasks within a team environment and is self-motivated, driven by results, achievement, and in meeting goals.

Responsibilities :

• Perform inspections of incoming and outgoing engines, components, and materials to meet quality control requirements as stated in the repair station quality control manual.
• Determine that no defective, unserviceable, or non-airworthy condition exists prior to release to service, check all documentation.
• Check incoming engines, components, and materials for hidden damage.
• Consult with Powerplant Engineer and generate inspection reports as needed.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Mentor Inspector I in proper inspection tool usage, inspection report writing, and complex inspections required for Insepctor II.
