Senior Inspector

We are looking for a Senior Inspector to support the Construction Services group.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities (but not limited to) the following :

• Perform duties associated with the oversight, administration and inspection of transportation projects including roadway and / or bridge to determine contractor's compliance with contract documents, plans, and specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of the contractor's daily operations and events that affect the work; monitor and inspect contractor's work zone temporary traffic control plan and review modifications to the plan.
• Record quantities of materials received or used during specified periods.
• Perform sampling and testing of materials and completed work in accordance with the construction contract.
• Oversee activities, inspections, reports, and documentation performed by CEI Inspectors.
• Assist the Project Oversight / Project Administrator.
• Provide mentorship and support to less experienced team members while serving as lead inspector on multi-inspector projects
• Responsible for timely communication of events of note and general progress directly to Project Oversight / Project Administrator.
