We are currently recruiting for an Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team and assist in fulfilling our organizations mission, which is to improve the health, life skills and wellbeing of all members of the communities we serve. We're hiring a licensed mental professional to join our integrated care team at First Choice. In this role, you'll provide short-term, solution-focused therapy to individuals facing psychological, developmental, or substance use challenges-helping improve health outcomes through collaborative care, brief interventions, crisis support, and motivational techniques.

A. Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Officer or designated team member, the licensed mental / behavioral health professional provides counseling and therapy addressing psychological, interpersonal, developmental, and / or chemical dependency issues, to include active encouragement of healthier patient behaviors. This individual may also support / coach others in motivational interviewing or other techniques intended to increase the collective potential for improving patient health outcomes.
