A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER
As a Client Services Manager, you play a key role in providing a high level of customer service for both our healthcare and non-hospital clients. Your main responsibilities include handling information requests and performing various administrative functions such as preparing Excel reports and corresponding with clients. In addition, you help with the research, policy development, and implementation of all aspects of our healthcare company's clerical program in collaboration with management.
Using your expert organizational and leadership skills, you maintain all clerical employee schedules as well as create necessary spreadsheets and logs. At times, you follow up with clients about direct pay requests and settlement offers as well as answer questions and requests via email and phone. You recover client receivables and handle all past due invoices in a timely manner while upholding the highest standards of quality customer service.
To keep your employees up to date on their jobs, you design top-notch customer service training programs as well as promote a professional and compliant work culture. You routinely seek out new improvement ideas from your clients and staff to ensure your department is working smoothly and everyone is satisfied. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER
- College degree OR 5+ years of experience in a managerial role
- Experience in a management or leadership position
- Experience with building client relationships
- Familiarity with hospital software systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
Experience working in the hospital business would be a plus but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
