About Maximus is seeking a Finance & Accounting Director to lead our financial oversight and strategic initiatives. This role is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare financial budgets, forecasts, and reports monthly, quarterly, and annually, including variance analysis between forecasts and actuals.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial processes such as forecasting, reporting, and accruals.
• Lead and mentor a team in developing a coherent financial strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
• Manage project financial records and forecasts, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Provide strategic pricing leadership to support new business areas.
• Oversee the internal and external audit processes.
• Coordinate with Project Management to analyze operational productivity and identify areas of cost efficiency.
• Review and modify contracts, prepare necessary documentation, and maintain financial contract files.
• Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing according to MAXIMUS policies.
• Manage Direct Sales Outstanding by facilitating collections and minimizing unbilled amounts.
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP, FAR, CAS, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct financial forecasts for project management and division finance.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports using MAXIMUS proprietary tools and Excel.
• Foster teamwork and provide ongoing supervision to assigned staff.
• Identify and resolve financial issues proactively.
• Engage with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and security of all corporate information.

Qualifications :

Compensation : Maximus offers competitive salaries ranging from $145,000 to $160,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
