Healthcare Construction Laborer

Conco Construction is seeking a Healthcare Construction Laborer to join their crew in Wichita, KS. Responsibilities and qualifications include performing shovel work, demolition, concrete placing, and general site clean up. Assist with different trades as needed, meet quality and productivity expectations, work in active hospital or healthcare environments while adhering to cleanliness and safety protocols, and demonstrate attention to detail and awareness of sensitive surroundings, ensuring minimal disruption to patients, staff, and hospital operations.

Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently, working outdoors, and standing for the majority of the day. Perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling. Follow site-specific safety and cleanliness requirements, including PPE and containment measures in healthcare settings.

Additional responsibilities will be assigned based on experience and performance. We expect all field employees to comply with all safety rules and regulations, be on time to the job site, maintain a positive attitude, be a team player, have a strong work ethic, pay close attention to detail, and maintain a professional presence.

Other considerations include all offers of employment being conditioned by successfully passing a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test. Wages are based on experience and performance. Must be able to work outside the normal operating hours (7am-4pm, winter / fall 7am-3 : 30pm, spring / summer). Employees are responsible for transportation to and from the job site.
