  • RATES AS HIGH AS $50 PER HOUR

The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ. We are looking for devoted and caring Full Time and / or Per Diem Respiratory Therapists on the   7am -7pm shift and 7pm-7am shift for our pediatric or adult units.

Our  Respiratory Therapists  examine, diagnose, and treat our residents with respiratory and cardiopulmonary diseases.

Responsibilities as a Respiratory Therapist :

  • Interview and examine residents with breathing difficulties
  • Consult with doctors and nursing staff to develop and modify resident treatment plan
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests to measure lung capacity
  • Use equipment to administer oxygen to the resident to assist with breathing
  • Connect residents who cannot breathe to a ventilator
  • Educate residents on how to use the equipment and medication
  • Monitor a resident’s response to medication and alter when needed
  • Regularly check on residents and equipment

    • Requirements for a Respiratory Therapist

  • Must have BLS
  • Must be a RRT
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Must be patient and sensitive to resident needs
  • Must be able to work evening or night shift
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid
