TITLE : HR Assistant
Job Details : Onsite in Naperville, Part Time (20 hours a week), $21-23 / hr
The HR Assistant works closely with the Systems & Communication Supervisor (SCS), HR Recruiter, Clinical Directors, and administrative staff while functioning with a high-level of independence to keep day-to-day employee operations running smoothly. This role is responsible for employee relation matters, ensuring employee certification & training compliance, proactive employee retention efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.The HR Assistant also completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned to help with organization and reports to the SCS.
Responsibilities :
- Conducts new hire orientations
- Provides weekly, moving to bi-weekly phone calls / or in person meetings with all new employees for 90 days
- Promote a positive work environment and ensure employee relation matters are effectively and consistently addressed
- Answer employee questions regarding company policies and procedures; connects & redirects employees to appropriate personnel as needed
- Sets up technology for employees upon hire / as needed
- Keeps employee files up to date with required certifications
- Process final paperwork and close all files when an employee resigns / is no longer with IABA
- Supports Systems & Communication Supervisor with benefits, payroll, and audits as needed
- Supports Clinical Directors & Marketing Assistant administratively with implementation of employee engagement activities and reinforcement programs
- Is fully knowledgeable and implements IABA policies and procedures
- Supports HR team with administrative tasks as assigned
