Location : South Austin, TX
Job Type : Contract-to-Hire
Schedule : Full-time | 40 hours / week | On-site with hybrid option after 90 days
Pay : $27-32 / hour
Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401K.
About the Role
A growing organization in South Austin is seeking a highly organized and people-focused HR Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, and training for field operations teams. This role will play a key part in improving hiring efficiency, strengthening employee retention, and overseeing the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and enjoys collaborating with both leadership and field crews. This position also supports ongoing HR initiatives, policy development, and process improvements to help the organization continue growing.
Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume, entry-level field roles — including sourcing, phone screenings, interviews, and candidate scheduling.
- Post job openings across online platforms and proactively source qualified applicants.
- Conduct reference checks, lead orientations, and support onboarding tasks such as I-9 verification and HRIS data entry.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and maintain operational staffing levels.
- Review and improve job descriptions and hiring processes to strengthen candidate quality.
- Work collaboratively with internal leadership and external recruiting partners.
