\n Position : Human Resources Generalist \n\n

Location : Honolulu, HI

\n Salary : $65,000 – $75,000 / year

\n Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm

\n\n

\n Position Summary \n\n

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will assist in developing and maintaining effective management and utilization of human resources, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. You’ll serve as the primary HR resource, administering, developing, and coordinating policies and programs in compensation, benefits, payroll, recruitment, training, safety, employee relations, and more.

\n\n

\n Essential Duties & Responsibilities \n\n \n\t

  • Benefits Administration : Oversee administration and record-keeping of company benefits plans, working closely with payroll and other departments.\n\t
  • HR Administration : Manage recruitment, onboarding, annual HR documentation (EEO1, OSHA, etc.), and HR record systems.\n\t
  • HRIS : Implement technology solutions to automate HR processes and maintain HR platforms.\n\t
  • Payroll : Administer payroll processes, verify accuracy, and oversee ADP Workforce Now.\n\t
  • Training & Development : Coordinate training programs and manage performance review and learning systems.\n\t
  • Recognition & Motivation : Develop and maintain employee engagement activities and programs.\n\t
  • Compensation : Conduct salary reviews and assist with the company-wide incentive program.\n\t
  • Employee Relations : Facilitate counseling, problem reconciliation, and corrective actions.\n\t
  • Assist with HR manual creation and other departmental documentation.\n\t
  • Analyze and Recommend : Evaluate work processes and propose enhancements; ensure compliance and handle administrative HR needs.\n

\n Requirements \n\n \n\t

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience / training.\n\t
  • Experience : 3–5 years of progressively responsible HR generalist experience.\n\t
  • Licenses / Certifications : PHR or SHRM-CP preferred but not required.\n\t
  • Skills : \n\t \n\t\t
  • Dependable with confidential / sensitive materials\n\t\t

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities\n\t\t
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills\n\t\t
  • Effective communication (oral and written) with all levels\n\t\t
  • Solid technical proficiency (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n\t
