User Interface (UI) / Visual Information Designer – Research, Illustration, and Innovation
Charles River Analytics is an employee-owned company that creates solutions and technology to tackle challenging problems in AI, robotics, smart sensing, and human-centered computing. We are looking for a passionate UI Designer with strong graphic design and illustration skills, experience in research-driven design, and the ability to illustrate UI concepts and communicate design decisions grounded in human factors and usability.
In this role, you will work with small teams of research scientists and software engineers to design innovative interfaces as part of a user-centered design process. - Illustrate and articulate design ideas using wireframes, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups, and final graphics
- Contribute to design assets and visual patterns; rapidly iterate concepts and prototypes
- Deliver prototypes and communicate functions and requirements to describe interactions
- Capture and develop process artifacts; present design concepts visually to product teams, customers, and end users
- Maintain and extend design systems and libraries to support the team
