Senior Principal Engineer - Warehouse Operations / Support

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Engineer to oversee our warehouse operation systems. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of technology within our warehouse environment, supporting daily business operations, and driving efficiency through innovative solutions.

Location : This position can be based out of our headquarters in Frisco, TX or Burlington, MA. In addition it can also be based at our Essex, VT plant.

Travel Requirements : up to 30%

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of warehouse management systems (SAP WMS, SAP EWM), SAP ECC, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related needs within warehouse operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to warehouse systems.
• Work closely with key stakeholders including Tech, Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations, to align WMS functionalities with business objectives.
• Manage existing and explore new opportunities for system and process improvement in the warehouse area, making recommendations through technology and automation.
• Collaborate with WMS vendors to ensure optimal system performance.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in warehouse technologies.
• Write, review, and support Training Documentation as needed.  You are the functional WM subject matter expert for the systems you support.
