Complexity of Work : Excellent knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers. Advanced knowledge of laboratory information systems. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience : Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Other Information : Additional Education Info : Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, or Biological Science. Bachelor's degree required to assess competency. Associate's degree with seven (7) years or more of experience in lieu of a Bachelor degree. Additional Cert / License Info : Florida State License as a Technologist (TN License) or Supervisor (SU License) n in the area of responsibility.
