job_description.job_card.job_descriptionResponsible for computing, preparing and providing loan payoff figures to attorneys and borrowers. Logs paid loan information into Loan Registers. Processes transactions, pertaining to payments and general ledgers; resolves payment discrepancies as needed by contacting borrowers by phone or letter in accordance with procedures or as instructed by management. Establishes and monitors daily automatic payment reports for external ACH reporting and internal PATS reporting. Corrects any returns through system maintenance and contacts borrowers. Reviews daily Unapplied Funds Report and processes transactions as necessary. Processes loan discharges for paid off loans; researches and processes confirmatory discharges for borrower / attorney. Responsible for the retention of paid loan files. Records legal documents. Processes all Loan Servicing returned mail and borrower requests for address and name changes, and other related records changes. Responsible for attaining predetermined sales goals on a monthly / annual basis in accordance with the Bank’s Customer Service Standards. Collects and distributes departmental mail on a daily basis. Assists in all tasks related to the tracking and monitoring of hazard and flood insurance. Performs related loan servicing tasks and special projects as may be required or assigned.

East Cambridge Savings Bank’s Loan Servicing Department is actively recruiting for a Loan Servicer.
Function :
Under the general supervision of the Loan Servicing Officer, performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in connection with the servicing of paid consumer, commercial and mortgage loans.
We are looking for a candidate with :
- 1 – 3 years banking experience, loan servicing experience a plus
- Working knowledge of COCC a plus
- Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
