HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Thousand Oaks, California.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist
  • Discipline : Allied Health Professional
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 10 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Local Contract
  • Number of Beds – 3 Cath / EP / Hybrid / Structural Heart rooms
  • Number of Staff –  3 per room
  • Type of staff : RNs and Rad Techs

Day Shift – 730 : 1530

  • Night Shift – on call only
  • Patient Ratios – 3 per case
  • Type of equipment – GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab / Cardiolab
  • EMR - Meditech
  • Typicaly Procedures :

    • Left / Right heart caths, angioplasty / stent; IVUS, ICE, atherectomy

  • Atrial Fib Ablations, Micra’s ICDs, PM, Lead extraction
  • Structural Heart : TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, LAAC (Watchman) PFO / ASD
  • Weekends / Call : 1 Weekend / Month, 1 night call per week

    • Must Haves : \n- ARRT (CV) or (CI), or ARRT (R), or RCIS\n- State Fluoroscopy license\n- A recent 6 months of Cath Lab Tech experience in an acute hospital setting\n- BLS and ACLS Certifications\n- Scrub experience\n\nPreferred or Nice to Have : \n- Mac Lab / Cardiolab experience\n- MediTech Experience\n- Travel Experience
