Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician to join our team. As a leader in our shop you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high level of efficiency promoting teamwork and ensuring the expedient delivery of top-notch automotive services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership and Motivation :
• Provide an example of leadership to achieve high levels of productivity and quality service.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Shop Organization and Efficiency :
• Maintain a clean organized and efficient workshop to enhance productivity.
• Implement and enforce shop procedures for optimal performance.
• Focus on Technology :
• Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies and implement them into repair and diagnostic processes.
• Provide guidance and training to the team on new technologies.
• Advanced Diagnostics :
• Demonstrate expertise in advanced diagnostics ensuring accurate identification of complex vehicle issues.
• Mentor team members in advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Vehicle Inspection :
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and assess mechanical issues safety concerns and areas requiring maintenance.
• Provide detailed reports on inspection findings including recommended repairs and maintenance to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
• Personal Billable Hours :
• Consistently produce a minimum of 30 billable hours per week through hands-on work.
• Lead by example in delivering high-quality efficient repairs.

Required Skills :

General requirements of an Automotive Service Technician are (this is not an all-inclusive list) : Ability to read interpret write and speak technical documents in English. Hablo Espanol es una ventaja! Valid drivers license Ability to obtain a Texas State Inspector certification (requirements ) Be able to maintain an organized neat and safe work area Possess a high level of motivation energy and customer focused attitude Be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs Be able to stand on concrete or metal surfaces for extended periods of time Be able to work in an environment that frequently experiences extreme hot and cold temperatures loud noises and exhaust fumes. Be able to lift and move inventory items trash cans and other work-related items (up to 50lbs.) Be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time. Be able to push pull pull-up bend at the knees and waist twist body at the waist raise and hold arms overhead turn head / neck / shoulders as needed grasp and hold tools and other items with hands - all for extended periods of time and / or many times throughout the work shift.
