SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

As a Staffing Coordinator , you'll be an essential part of the leadership team, working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure effective and efficient scheduling of nursing staff. You’ll help maintain smooth operations and foster a positive work environment while building strong relationships across all departments.

You’ll be a great fit if you have :

Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator or Scheduling Director in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility

Familiarity with scheduling systems and healthcare staffing procedures

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

A high school diploma or equivalent

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism logs

Create and update nursing staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage

Collaborate with supervisors and nursing staff to address scheduling needs

Assist employees with time-off requests and scheduling inquiries

Use phone, email, and text communication to update and confirm schedules

Answer employee calls and questions regarding staffing and schedules
