We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with experience working on trailers, tanks or vessels!

Shift Hours : Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM

This position is for our Mobile, AL branch at 86 Telegraph Road.

Pay Range : $16.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas :

  • The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
  • Tank service and repair
  • Trailer suspension installation and repair
  • Experience with air brake systems and repairs
  • TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands :

  • The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
  • With assistance, occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
