Your work environment at EXP

EXP an award-winning international engineering firm, is currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Designer / Engineer. This is an opportunity to get great exposure from our talented and experienced engineering staff in our Dallas, TX office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
• Prepare calculations for loads.
• Thorough knowledge of codes.
• Select and schedule equipment.
• Coordinates with other disciplines (MEP / FP, Arch, Struct, etc.).
• Understand proper scope of SD, DD, CD level documents - and deliver appropriate documentation.
• Work with PC, PM, to meet scheduled project milestones of multiple projects.
• Perform at a 'responsible charge' level of meeting exp's design and quality levels.
• Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
• Write studies and reports for systems on projects.
• Understands and apply concepts of CHW, HW, WSHP, variable & constant flow systems.
• Air side systems - CV, VAV, coil selection, fan selection.
• Hydronic Systems - hot, chilled water systems and condenser water systems
• Thorough understanding psychometrics and being able to apply to every project.
