About the Role :

The Tech position is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance of HVAC systems within a retail environment. This role involves responding to on-call service requests, performing basic repairs, and conducting routine maintenance on residential HVAC units. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a comfortable shopping experience for customers by ensuring that heating and cooling systems are functioning efficiently. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues promptly. Ultimately, the Tech will contribute to the overall operational success of the retail establishment by ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and staff.

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and repair techniques.

Ability to work on-call and respond to emergency service requests.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certification in HVAC technology or related field.

Previous experience in a retail environment.

Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities :

Respond to on-call service requests for HVAC system repairs and maintenance.

Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting on residential HVAC units.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.

Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of HVAC issues.
