Minimum 2 years of experience drafting mechanical blueprints using AutoCAD.
Purpose :
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support our client in providing shore-side maintenance and construction services for a variety of facilities. This role will involve designing and reviewing mechanical systems for infrastructure such as utilities, piers / docks, hangars, offices, housing complexes, and industrial facilities, including water treatment plants, fuel farms, and steam generation plants.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct independent technical reviews, field investigations, and project scope development to support construction and maintenance efforts.
- Provide mechanical engineering troubleshooting and consultations, offering technical guidance to Project Managers.
- Perform comprehensive technical reviews of engineering studies, reports, scopes of work, and project drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, construction managers, and contractors to resolve complex mechanical engineering challenges.
- Review and provide feedback on design-build and design-bid-build project designs.
- Develop technical responses for contractor inquiries and assist in preparing Scopes of Work for contract modifications.
