Assist physicians during examinations, minor surgeries, and diagnostic testing. Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider. Perform routine laboratory tests, phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Schedule patient appointments, manage follow-up communications, and assist with referrals. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of exam rooms and medical equipment. Educate patients on medication instructions, preventive care, and follow-up needs. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Support general front desk operations, including answering phones and checking in / out patients, as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Previous experience in an Orthopedic medical setting is a plus.

Their primary responsibility will be to support physicians and healthcare providers by performing both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
