Overview
Maimonides is seeking a Guard to serve as a liaison between patients, visitors, and staff while ensuring the safety and security of Medical Center property through enforcement of hospital policies and state laws; also oversees parking operations and fee collection as directed.
Responsibilities
- Patrols all areas of the Medical Center to prevent and detect fire, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
- Serves as a liaison between patients, visitors, and staff, providing guidance, support, and referrals as needed.
- Responds to patient and visitor concerns, escalating to appropriate departments and reporting to administration.
- Enforces hospital policies and applicable laws; makes arrests when necessary and may serve as a witness in court proceedings.
- Prepares incident reports, conducts investigations, and assists in restraining emotionally disturbed patients when required.

Pay Range
USD $26.47 - USD $29.83 / Hr.
