Proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans. Knowledge of helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols. Penetration testing experience is a plus. System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, Cisco, or other network-related fields are a plus. AWS / Azure System Admin Certifications are a plus. Responsibilities :
- Administration of AWS cloud technologies
- Install, configure and maintain network components such as switches, firewalls and wireless devices.
- Support and participate in service desk everyday tasks relating to business functions.
- Ensure the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, virtualized systems, and network equipment.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, document problems and resolutions, prioritize problems, and assess impact.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to plan and implement new infrastructure or upgrades.
- Responsible for capacity storage planning and network performance.
- Perform periodic bandwidth testing and optimize network connectivity.
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Work with third-party vendors on Cyber Security projects, including penetration tests, server patches, desktop / laptop patches, and network configuration.
