Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical support and maintenance of all ASRC and subsidiary enterprise network infrastructure and related systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage all company switching, routing, firewall, VPN, wireless, cable plants, and network management systems across a wide range of complex architectures, platforms and mediums.
• Lead engineer on assigned network upgrade projects.
• Mentor and train junior network engineering staff to ensure they have the tools to be successful.
• Effective communication skills and customer service with the ability to communicate IT issues to Sr IT Leadership.
• Define and follow standards and best practices for network design, testing, and implementation methodology.
• Document the environment as needed.
• Manage cloud networking components, native and vendor appliances, to ensure connectivity between systems.
• Provide day to day support to ASRC IT customers by ensuring IT service tickets assigned are being addressed and resolved within established SLA parameters.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and may be required to travel in small and large commercial aircraft. This position is required to travel up to 30% of the time, pending current IT projects and initiatives.
