A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Fuel Performance and Development. Key Responsibilities Perform thermo-mechanical analysis of fuel rods and core components to support design and testing activities Develop fuel and material models, and compose technical documents for core / reactor design and licensing Support irradiation testing by conducting fuel performance assessments and preparing test plans and reports Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering A minimum of 6 years of experience in fuel performance modeling or thermo-mechanical analysis Strong skills in finite element methods, heat transfer, and solid mechanics Experience with numerical methods and computational algorithms, including FEA codes like ABAQUS or ANSYS Proficiency in programming languages such as PYTHON or FORTRAN
