We are seeking an Acute and Critical Care Occupational Therapy Fellow to :
- Become well versed in acute care occupational therapy with advanced clinical skills for evaluation, assessment, and treatment of various diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in appropriate discharge planning and goal setting for patients and families as a trusted advocate as they progress through their hospital stay.
- Participate in didactic learning modules to further growth and knowledge in a specialized setting.
- Challenge their own and other staff member's clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units and case presentations to advance the role of occupational therapy in acute care.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to carry out evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes for patients.
- Receive and modify practice patterns based on constructive feedback from mentors.
