We are seeking an experienced Crude Oil Options Trader to join our trading team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market making and proprietary trading within the oil options market or in commodity options. The role requires a deep understanding of trading strategies, risk management, and market insights to drive profitability and enhance our market presence.

Key responsibilities :

• Evaluate and execute oil options trades with a focus on market making and discretionary vol trading strategies.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and manage risk.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and data to make informed trading decisions.
• Manage positions and risk within defined limits, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other traders, analysts, and support teams to optimize trading performance.
• Utilize trading platforms and tools to enhance trading efficiency and performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with market participants, including brokers, exchanges, and other traders.
• Provide regular reports and updates on trading performance, market conditions, and strategy adjustments.

Qualifications :

The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000 depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
