LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Contract Oil & Gas Attorney to join our confidential client's legal team. This role is perfect for a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in oil and gas law, specifically in writing title opinions for properties in West Virginia, Ohio, and / or Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the legal intricacies involved in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough title examinations and prepare detailed title opinions for oil and gas properties in West Virginia, Ohio, and / or Pennsylvania.
- Review and analyze property records, including deeds, leases, and other legal documents, to determine ownership and title status.
- Identify and resolve title defects and issues, providing clear and concise recommendations for curative actions.
- Collaborate with landmen, clients, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with state-specific laws, regulations, and industry standards related to oil and gas title opinions.
- Draft and review legal documents related to oil and gas transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to oil and gas title opinions and property rights.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all title examinations and opinions.
Qualifications :
Pay Details : $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
