As a Sr. Product Manager II, Contextual and Online Targeting within the Ad Platform technology team at Disney, you will be a part of the team redefining TV advertising. You will be responsible for product vision, strategy and execution to establish the future of Disney's Targeting and Segmentation needs across Disney’s streaming video OTT, Mobile and Web applications. The right person for this role can identify business value, solve complex technical problems, concisely articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ultimately drive results. The ideal applicant will have experience in Advertising Technology, Big Data, Audience Targeting, and Audience Measurement, as well as strong grounding in content metadata, machine learning and foundational AI models.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role :

Develop and execute on product strategy and plan for core areas of identity, audience segmentation, targeting and data management for advertising use cases across OTT, Mobile and Web applications.

Ability to work closely with stakeholders from Disney Advertising as well as partner with content teams and data science teams across Disney.

Responsible for product prioritization, including value identification, cost savings and progress against the broader business strategy, within your specific area.

Maintain expected standards across the team for product specifications, backlog health, and consumable user stories for engineering partners.

Serve as product owner for one or more Scrum teams by participating in agile ceremonies, owning prioritization, backlog refinement, and feature definition.

Hold a deep compassion for our users, and creatively tackle problems with a viewer-first mentality.

Support evaluation and recommend investments to maximize the financial results of the product portfolio.

Enumerate and identify clear business critical metrics for setting annualized objectives and partnering with GTM and financial planning to meet them.

Partner with Engineering organization to execute against the product roadmap, delivering on the needs of the business.

Required Qualifications :

7+ years of product management experience, highly preferred from established technology or digital media company.

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, or equivalent Product Management experience.

Experience in one or more of the following : Audience segmentation, Audience targeting, Contextual targeting, Attribution Measurement, Creative Optimization, A / B Experimentation, Ad or Content Metadata management or ad serving technology.

Proven experience and success in a product role with the ability to demonstrate a record of success.

Ability to interact with a diverse set of tech and non-tech partners.

Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a sophisticated, always-changing environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in Addressable Ad Sales business.

Experience in DTC Streaming business.

Knowledge of ML models and training workflows, generative AI or data science.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA and Santa Monica, CA is $155,700 to $208,700 per year and in New York, NY is $163,100 to $218,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
