Otolaryngology - Pediatric Physician at MSI Systems Corp, DBA Medical Search International summary :

A Pediatric Otolaryngologist is needed for a lucrative contract position involving 3 days in clinic and 1.5 days in the OR per month. The role requires dealing primarily with patients up to age 21, focusing on services like ear tubes and tonsil / adenoid procedures under a busy pediatric ENT service. Candidates must be board-certified in pediatric otolaryngology, with a preference for additional certifications, and be willing to provide on-call coverage during the assigned week.

Lucrative - Cohesive Group

Start Date : ASAP -Need is 1 week per month

Contract Length : 6 months or longer

Shift Details : 3 days in clinic and 1.5 days of OR (1 week per month) but could use more clinic hours 8a-5p

Weekend call the week they are onsite working and weekday call when they are there

Schedule : 3 days in the clinic and 1.5 in the OR with weekend call (call is not a deal breaker) Physician may have to come into the hospital. The night house officer does help deflect a lot of the call demands .

Work Details :

Support staff : ACH will provide the support staff

Amount of coverage needed per month : 1Week

Patients per day : a day

Patient population / age : up to age 21

Department description : busy pediatric ENT service with 4 ENT surgeons and 4 APP s - in clinic you will be seeing mostly new patients

EMR : Epic

Special procedures : lots of ear tubes and T&A(tonsils and adnoids)

Skills required : full spectrum of pediatric otolaryngeology

Practice Setting :

    Board Certification : CPO for otolaryngology

    License required : OH will not license a provider

    DEA : CSR :

    Certifications preferred : BC / E in Otolaryngology

    Certifications required :
