Job Description :
Purpose : The role of the Associate Pastor of Community Life is to assist the Lead Pastor in carrying out the mission of the church by fostering a disciple-making community.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the Life Group Ministry.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to Life Group leaders.
- Provide pathways for church members and guests to develop deeper and more meaningful relationships through programs such as Bible Studies, small groups, retreats, conferences, special events, hospitality, etc.
- Develop volunteers and provide opportunities for them to serve our church community and the community at large.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Collaborate with members of our staff in planning the annual ministry calendar.
- Preach God’s Word periodically as part of the pastoral preaching team.
- Report directly to the Lead Pastor.
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
