Join CulinArt Group in Shelton, CT as a Senior Chef Manager!
As the Senior Chef Manager , you will oversee both front- and back-of-house operations for a dynamic Business & Industry account in Shelton, CT .
In this culinary management role, youll lead a high-performing culinary team while maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation. You will manage all aspects of menu development, inventory, purchasing, labor, food cost control, catering, and sanitation compliance. Additionally, youll handle all financial reporting and take a hands-on approach to personnel management, including hiring, coaching, training, and developing team members to ensure operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.
Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance to Shelton, CT.
Key Responsibilities :
- Carries out Culinary Management responsibilities of a B&I account
- Participates in employee meetings and training programs
- Conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
- Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards
- Maintains an active role in managing team development
- Support catering events as needed
- Manages purchasing and inventory controls
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
