Job Title :   Pest Control Technician

Department : Pest Control

Reports to : Pest Control Manager

Status : Full Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly

Duties / Responsibilities :

Perform pest control related service requests for single-family rental properties while ensuring timely and accurate service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Monitor and act on the department’s projected and forecasted performance goals including but not limited to : Number of work orders completed, and average completion times of work orders.

Manage and maintain proper levels of inventory related to supplies, tools, and parts.

Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Ensure all workplace safety standards and practices are always upheld, including but not limited to EPA and OSHA regulations.

Available for on-call service, weekends and evenings as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Excellent time management skills, detail-orientation and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with advanced conflict resolution skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co-workers throughout the organization.

Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary.

Must always possess a valid driver’s license, valid vehicle insurance and have no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUIs in the last 5 years.

Ability to climb up and down stairs several times each day and lift 50 pounds with ease.

Proficiency with Windows and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Education and Experience :

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Pest Control License - Must be licensed in the State of Texas to perform pest control.
