This full-time position involves installing and repairing water, sewer, and storm-water pipelines in residential, commercial, and government sitework projects. You'll work with a safety-first mindset and support the team in delivering top-tier utility infrastructure across our job sites. Who We Are Our client is not your typical construction company. Key Responsibilities- Install and repair water, sewer, and storm-water pipeline systems.- Set proper grades, elevations, and flowlines using lasers or grade sticks.- Connect sewer and water pipelines (bell and spigot).- Grade and level trench bases using tampers and hand tools.- Lay out pipe routes from blueprints or supervisor instructions.- Work within trench shoring shields to ensure safety and compliance.- Inspect slopes, trenches, and utility alignments.- Backfill and compact around pipe structures as needed.- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.- Communicate clearly and take direction from the Foreman.- Maintain reliable attendance and a professional attitude on site. Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (pipe work preferred).- High school diploma or GED (preferred).- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.- Must be able to pass a background check.- Strong understanding of construction methods, trenching, and utility installation.- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.- Proficiency with trenching tools, lasers, and safety gear.- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in strenuous conditions daily.
