SUMMARY We are partnering with a distinct, rapidly expanding business known for operational sophistication and premium service standards, seeing a dedicated Assistant Controller to ensure the financial integrity and efficient operation of the accounting department. This role is highly visible, involving direct management of daily financial cycles, high-level reporting, and critical on-site financial training. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, income controls. Lead efforts in month-end closing and transaction reconciliations. Assist Finance leadership in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts. Prepare and analyze essential daily financial reports. Ensure strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the AHLA Uniform System of Accounts standards. Provide detailed financial analysis and guidance to support strategic decision-making. Act as primary financial resource for management, systems implementations. QUALIFICATIONS 2 years' finance & management experience. Prior experience working with hotel or resort accounting / finance mgmt. (mandatory). Ability to manage the full cycle of payroll, AP / AR, cash controls. Knowledge of GAAP compliance and experience Associate’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. COMPENSATION Annual Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 Comprehensive health and welfare benefits package. 401k plan participation.
